MALES
When picking your favourites please keep in mind…
-
The biggest/fluffiest/best looking pup now will not necessarily grow to be the biggest/fluffiest/best looking dog in the litter when it grows up. So it is important to pick primarily based on the personality that suits you/your family rather than the looks or size of the puppy.
-
The temperament descriptions can give a good indication, but don’t necessarily reflect exactly how a puppy will grow up. A puppy’s environment, socialisation and training until adulthood have big impact and it is the new owner’s responsibility to continue positive socialization experiences and training, to get the best possible puppy from what good genetics and early socialization produced.
-
Puppies go through many developmental stages, including fear periods, which shape their behavior as adults. Both good and bad experiences during the puppies first two years of life have a major influence on what the adult version of that dog will be.
-
No matter whether your puppy is more active or more calm, shepherds are by default an active and large, working dog breed, meaning they need a lot of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Being active and training with your dog is not an optional thing, it's a necessity. Oftentimes behavioral issues stem from dogs not getting their needs met in these areas.
-
All puppies in this litter are playful, friendly, social and cuddly.
RED - active
Red is the most confident and active boy. He has a sure of himself and independent personality, and is therefore also very grounded and curious with new things.
He is very fond of humans and follows and listens well.
He will be a great fit for people with an active lifestyle, family with kids/lots going on, people with other playful dogs and people keen to train as he will have a great drive.
Because he is confident, he will be easy to socialize but because he is quite active and strong willed, he will also require someone who can be assertive and put clear boundaries in place.

GREEN - medium active
Green is a beautiful mixed temperament of his parents, explorative but also cuddly and sweet.
He can be a little cautious with new things, but with positive socialization and encouragement from you, he will grow up to be a confident dog.
He is super people orientated, and is very playful and attentive.

BLACK - calm
Black is the most calm boy. He is sweet, gentle and loves to follow you. Be aware that this following does not turn into separation anxiety (a common trait in the WSSD).
He is cautious when approaching new things, however still very curious to learn about whatever that new thing is.
At the moment, he is a lot like his dad, who is super chill and has willingness to please his humans but also needed a lot of socialization and positive guidance to boost his confidence.
He will suit an owner who is super committed to giving him positive socialization and encouragement throughout his life.

BLUE - medium active
Blue is excited about life and very playful with toys and people. He is still very down-to-earth and attentive when you call him.
He will likely be great at training and be play driven. Just like Boy Black, at the moment he is a lot like his dad and loves to follow you while still being quite independent.
He will be a great fit for people with an active lifestyle, family with kids/lots going on, people with other playful dogs and people keen to train.
